...let’s not merely say that we love each other;
let us show the truth by our actions.
-1 John 3:18
In this verse the Apostle John exhorts followers of Christ to not just say that they love their neighbor, but to also demonstrate it through caring acts. Kingdom is committed to communicating the love of God through compassionate deeds purposed to meet needs. Kingdom Cares is love in action; it is outreach ministry that touches the lives of others through good works.
Senior Living Facility
Seniors are one of the most vulnerable populations in our community during the COVID-19 crisis. Kingdom members packed and transported over 40 boxed goods for the residents of Victory Centre, a senior living facility in Roseland.
Domestic Violence Shelter
Over two dozen boxes packed with cleaning supplies, personal hygeine products, diapers, wipes, masks and more were given to a local shelter for battered women and children.
Homeless Shelter
We provided cleaning supplies, paper goods, personal hygiene items, underwear, socks, masks and more to Zacchaeus House - a nonprofit transitional home for men in the Roseland community.
Correctional Facility
During the Christmas season, we donated an abundant amount of snacks and supplies to the inmates at the Lincoln Correctional Facility. Your giving says, "I see you and I care," to these men who often feel forgotten.
